- Promoting emails from Sent Items

Hi can somebody please help me.
can you promote emails from your sent items folder into CRM? Is there a
workaround to this because I get an error saying and error occured while
tring to promote email

Can'd be done in the current version. Will be able to do this in CRM 3.0 in a
few months.
