Sorry peter, there is no mention of this anywhere. It may be possible to use
code developed using the CRM sdk against the outlook sfo client directly but
its something I have not seen or tried yet. Keep in mind that the SFO client
uses the Cassini web server and therefore there may be issues before you
even write you first line of code.

What are you trying to achieve?

and MS CRM. In looking at it I realised that there wasn't any documentation
on accessing the code of the SFO client. They have also expressed an
interest in having a MS CRM developer do some consultancy / training work
with them on writing .Net code to integrate with MS CRM. They have just
completed the MOC Customisation course.

The company has another system that creates appointments for thier field staff. What they wanted to do was to write a peice of code on this system that called up CRM and created the appointment for them - but the appointment had to appear in Outlook and CRM.

if a user creates an CRM appointnet through the web client it would not
appear in the SFO client until they click go offline. However I cannot
clarify what happens if the appointment was created in code. Best thing
would be to try it and see when it appears in the outlook CRM SFO client.
