As a general rule of thumb, preparation for any of the CRM exams should
include the following: 1) attend classroom training or view the corresponding
eCourse, 2) thoroughly review the training manual, and 3) work with the
product. Nothing beats hands-on experience, so I highly recommend that you
have experience with the product prior to taking the exams. As for study
aides, the training manual should be your primary reference material when
studying for the exam. For the Install exam, the Implementation Guide is an
excellent resource of knowledge, especially for your live implementations,
but it should not be used as your sole study guide. Since each exam's
content was derived from the material covered in its corresponding training
course, the training manuals should be your primary reference material as you
study and prep for the exams.
