However I am now wondering if I've gotten the whole point of teams wrong.

I thought they were containers for groups of people from different (or the
same) organisational units who would work together on related tasks.

If you cannot delete or disable Teams...then you would soon end up with lots
of empty old teams that would confuse users...

e.g. CRM Implementation Team, Old Project 1 Team, Old Project 2 Team
