I have been using only dynamic disks for all the "demo" installation I have
done, and make it dynamic, because it gives you a small litlle bit of extra
performance. The one thing to just watch out for is the mode that the drive
is
Am am sure you know this, but for some of the people that is not to fimiliar
with hardware / configuration just some notes on hardware
As per my friend that is spesializing in hardware( looking over my shoulder
know)
Rule of thumb is make sure that drives of the same spindle speed (RPM) and
data transfer rate (eg. DMA - Ultra DMA)
is on the same controler. Your cd-rom should preffrable secondry slave
depending on your setup. Also note the HDD cable, to not put a standard
cable on a Ultra DMA cable. And If you are writing a lot of cd's to put the
cd drive and cd/dvd writer on sepprate channels
