Exchange 2003 SP1 I don't believe is supported yet.

When attempting to install the CRM-Exchange Email Router I get an error
stating that the router service won't start. This error occurs during the
installation process of the Email Router. The Windows log file states "CRM
Exchange Queue Service is not a valid Win32 Application".
This is CRM 1.2 installed on Exchange 2003 sp 1 on Windows 2003 Server
Standard Edition.
In advance, thank you

Exhcnage 2003 is definately supported, not sure about SP1 though. It's possible
that somehing in SP1 causes the router not to work properly.

The Implementation Guide states that CRM 1.2 is compatible with Exchange 2003
but it doesn't say antyhing about sp 1. Are you saying that CRM might not
support sp 1 but does support Exchange 2003?
Thanks again for your help.
