Silvia,
Another common problem that results in this error is that the actual files
for the DB are still present in the default SQL data file directory. Make
sure the DB's have been dropped from SQL and the the files named:
<organization_name>_METABASE.mdf
<organization_name>_METABASE.ldf
<organization_name>_MSCRM.mdf
<organization_name>_MSCRM.ldf
<organization_name>_CRYSTAL.mdf
<organization_name>_CRYSTAL.ldf
are deleted.

Hi,
When I try to install CRM Server I get this error:
" Failed to install Microsoft Customer Relationship
Management Server"
"Failed to create Microsoft CRM Database"
"unknown error.(80040e14)"
We have two Domain Controllers and for this reason I
applied the resolutions suggested in the following article:
http://www.greatplains.com/techknowl...knowledge.asp?
id=30300&target=PS
Resolution 1: Force replication to all domain controllers
at the beginning of the Microsoft CRM installation
Resolution 2: Shut down all domain controllers except for
the domain controller which has the Global Catalog Server
But the same error persist.
What I can make to solve this problem?
Thanks,
Silvia

Silvia,
When you tried forcing replication, at what point in the installation did
you do it? It's possible that you did it too early. These are the only 2
"published" resolutions to the 80040e14 error. The replication & deleteing
the files.
Try the install again with forcing the replication on AD. Do the
replication right after the install begins doing the database scripts. If
it is the replication, the error doesn't occur until it has run several
scripts, so there is time to do it att his point.

Matt thanks for your help,
But I also checked it and I continue obtaining the same
error.
Any other idea?
Thanks,
Silvia.
