This all depends on how many users you have and how heavily used MSCRM is.
SQL will take the biggest hit and you are right to want to put it on the
more powerful machine. I can't see that unless you have a lot of users
hitting the application heavily you will notice any adavantage by putting
CRM on its own server, bear in mind it can always be moved at a later date
if necessary.
