Primary Columns cannot be removed
you also cannot make its width zero ie hide the column

This limitation kind of sucks! You're stuck with fields you don't want and
they are in your face (first column)...

You can rename the field to a text field you actually want to use. I hate
the idea of remapping their database fields..it makes maintenance difficult
if you are working with the SDK, but that is the only solution at the
moment.
