RE: Sales Stage reflected on Crystal Reports

Chuck:
You do need to add a workflow process for this all to work properly.
Specifically, you need to add a sales process to the opportunity object in
the CRM Workflow Manager. You can use the SPI Solution Selling process that
ships on the CRM CDs as an example to get you started if you haven't done
this before. (I posted details on this a few days ago, search for "SPI")

If this is not the case, you may need to make sure your reports are matching
your current database schema. Assuming you have customized the form by adding
new fields to the schema, and they are properly published (showing up on the
opportunity form itself as expected) you may need to open the report in
Crystal Reports and verify the database. The report you mentioned is a canned
report, so if you aren't familiar with the reports process: you'll need to
purchase the application that lets you design your own reports, Crystal
Reports 9.2.2 (assuming you're using CRM 1.2). Install the CR 9.2.2 on a
workstation (not the CRM server) and install the Crystal Reports Enhancements
for CRM that is on the CDs for CRM on the same workstation that you installed
CR 9.2.2. Open the report in question and go to Database > Verify Database.

HTH. Good luck.

can this be done if you hadn't installed the SPI Solution Selling process?

If the values are not showing in the report try two things

1 - restart all the crystal services and try report again
2 - if one fails open the report and do a database - verify database to
refresh the report.

you do not need to install the SPI process tool - its just there as a sample

Hi Matt - I searched and couldn't find your information. Would you mind
sending me an example of this data? I am just having trouble figuring out
the right conditions and activities to match the probablity with the Sales
Stage, along with a couple of other little things! My email is:
erins411@hotmail.com. Thanks, Erin
