- Re: SFO access for the same user from two different computers?

It should not be an issue to have 2 computers installed with the SFO.
We do not have any users who currently utilize it this way (once
configured correctly, CRM Offline Sync works nicely) but often when
replacing or upgrading systems, we will have two CRM accounts running.
The home PC would need to be a domain member I would guess.
Just curious: why would you not just open up CRM Web access from
outside? All of my users look forward to being out of the office and
using the MUCH faster web portal for CRM over using Outlook to slow
down and shell the pages.

Thanks for the response - good to know it's possible. A large reason for
using SFO instead of web CRM is the integration with emails (being able to
promote emails directly from Outlook to CRM, etc).
To dive a little deeper, once the home PC is connected via VPN (to be on
same domain), how would connection work? I.e., if CRM/SFO authenticates
based on Windows userid, this would be different between company and home
PC's. What sort of handling would need to go on around this? Any tips are
appreciated - thanks!
