- READ ACCESS
- Posted by Lee on June 16th, 2004
Hi,
My saga with trying to get the security/ access levels to function
continues. I have 2 users in 2 different BU's. Business Unit 1 (with
user1) is the parent of Business Unit 2 (with user2). Although I have
set the read account records access level to Business Unit within the
role of user2 and all account records are owned by user1, user 2 can
still see every record in the active records view.
I don't want user2 to be able to view records owned by user1, even in
the active records view. All of the documentation suggests that this
should be a straight forward thing to do. However, I just cannot
restrict the read access of account records to the users BU.
Any ideas?
Best regards
Lee
