- Report Categories
- Posted by Alistaird @ 2B.net on March 20th, 2007
Hi All
Quite new to reporting, it would seem as a default we have the following
categories for reports.
1 = Sales Reports
2 = Service Reports
3 = Marketing Reports
4 = Admin Reports
What we want is
5 = Management Reports
But for the life of me I cant find how to set up a new category so that
these reports can be separatly filtered out
Thanks

The categories equate to the folders defined in SRS. There is not
"filtering" that is done on the display of the reports in the app, it just
filters the data that displays in them.

Hi Matt
Sorry I guess you mis-understood what I wanted to do, in the CRM app when
you go to reports at the top you have a category filter along with an entity
filter plus the standard search, we wanted to add a new category into this
filter, which we have done by changing the report XML and publishing all
reports
Thanks

You can go to system setting to add your category: System -> Organization
Settings -> System Setting
Report Categories is the last tab.
