Are you using visual Stuido 2005 and trying to deploy to a Reports 2000
server?

If you are running Reporting Services 2000 you have two options,

1 - Use Visual Stuido 2000 to build and deploy your reports
2 - Upgrade your reports server to 2005.

(make sure you replace servername with your reporting server name).


If it loads your report server then down the bottom of the page you
should see something like

"Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Version 8.00.1038.00 "
