- Report last activity completed, next activity(ies) not completed
- Posted by Jonas Helgren on February 1st, 2007
Hi everyone! Thank you in advance for at least taking a look at this. CRM
has been a great product to use so far but I've run into some difficulty
building a report to give the account, last activity completed, and next
(highest priority and date created) activity to be worked on. I have all the
SQL structure and process figured out to sort the values but I can't for the
life of me figure out how activities are related back to an account (or
contact, lead, email recpt...ect.) so if anyone could point me in the
direction of how to link an activity to an account in the SQL Report Designer
that would be fantastic! Thanks!

After alot of research I found that the Account Table/View (filtered and
unfiltered) are related to the ActivityPointer Table/View (filtered and
unfiltered) by the regardingobjectid and the accountid, makes sense I guess.
I was just confused becuase the report designer didnt show the relationship
and I had to manually create the relationship when writing reports. I'm
guess this would be true when regarding other entity types (leads, contacts,
etc...) Hope this helps somone!
