Somteimes changes to roles do not get applied properly to existing records. 24
hrs should be enough time for the backgroun update to have completed already,
but to be sure, check the program files\mscrm\server\bin directory. When the
role changes are made, a temp file is created in that direcctory. When the
background update process compets, this file is removed. The file has a .bin
extension and the itmestamp will be current.
If that file is not there, then test the user again. You can also try having
the owner of a record that the user can not see, make a small update to that
record and then see if the other user can see it. Usually, updates to a record
will "fix" the security descriptor in the process. If this is the case, you
should contact MBS support as they have a tool that can "fix" all the records in
the DB.

Hi,
I'm trying to give a role the rights to view all account. I've granted
"Organization" access in the "Read" column of "Account" but user having
this role cannot see them all and this, 24h later...
is it normal?
thanks
