Sales For Outlook cannot sync to go offline
Posted by Michael F on February 9th, 2005

When we try to go offline the data sync window appears then it "hangs" and we
get no message or we get "cannot open user document database" error message.

Any ideas?

is this the first time you have gone offline? If so this can take a long
time...in some cases a few hours depending on how much data you can see. You
can see what your system is up to by bringing up task manager and going to
the performance tab and also the process tab to see which process is
running. Dont be suprised to see the status bar stay in one position for a
long time

Try doing the folowing:
Open SQL Enterprise Manager, Server> Replication Monitor>Agents>Merge Agents
and stop and start the agent.
