When you install SFO you will get a SQL Server named instance database for
the logged on user on the PC, and a COM add-in that adds a toobar and applies
some modifications to some of the Outlook forms.
SFO will not change your Outlook profile or mailbox. SFO will let you create
contacts, tasks and appointments that are tightly integrated MSCRM-Outlook
(two sides of the coin). I recommend making a new 'My private contacts'
folder for all your existing Outlook contacts before using SFO, as SFO will
fill the 'Contacts' folder with MSCRM contacts when you go offline. This will
give a clean separation between your biz contacts and your wife.
SFO will not provide any integration between your mailbox and MSCRM e-mails,
except for the option to promote an e-mail from your inbox into MSCRM. E.g.
when you send MSCRM e-mails, they will not show up in 'sent items'. This will
change in v3.0.
Note that only a single user is supported per PC. The logged on user must be
a local admin to be able to install SFO.
