Searching Across Leads, Opportunities, and Accounts
Posted by Nathan M Keller on October 9th, 2003

Hi.

Wondering if there is a way to search across leads,
opportunities, and accounts simultaneously. The scenario
is a call comes in to a sales rep and the rep doesn't want
to have to do an individual search in all three.

I guess I could build another menu item/tab and make my
own search but...

Thanks for any info and ideas,

Sincerely,

Nathan M Keller

That would make too much sense and require too little work on your
salespersons part. Aren't you paying them to navigate around a sales force
automation tool? It is inconceivable that you would expect this application
to make a sales user's life easier.

Hello Nathan

As you have found the advanced find in CRM only allows you to search across
one object at a time. To get around this limitation www.c360.com have
produced a tool that allows you to search across multiple objects at the
same time.
