- A server certificate could not be validated for the Reporting Services Report Server
- Posted by David Lozzi on April 21st, 2006
Hello,
I have CRM 3.0 installed but reporting isnt working properly, well not
working at all. Look at my previous post at 4/21/06 10:49AM.
I figured I give a Repair a try using Add/Remove programs. I run through the
wizard and the System Requirements window errors on Microsoft SQL Server
Reporting Services with the following error:
A server certificate could not be validated for the Reporting Services
Report Server
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Well then. I switch the SSL cert on the site from one the local server made
but was named for its external FQDN to the original publishing.domain.local
and setup connected fine. Here's hoping I can switch it back!

reposted this issue as I've narrowed it down to an SSL issue. See "Change
SSL cert hoses reports??!?!" on 4/21/06

We have a SPLA version for Microsoft CRM V3. It is targeted for SSL and
hosting on internet. It has its own setup targeted for SSL. It probably will
ease your plan on setting up the server certificate etc.
By the way, CRM V3.0 rtm version does not support users using it both from
Internet and Intranet. You need to get SPLA version if that is your scenario.
