I am trying to install CRM 3.0 on MS SBS 2003 sp1, with all the prerequisites
met already. but setup fails during the verification process with this error
message:
Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server
http://LONDON/ReportServer. Error: The underlying connection was closed: The
server committed an HTTP protocol violation.

I have tried various things, like reinstalling sql server 2000 reporting
services with and without ssl and others , still no solution.

Many people seem to have the same problem.

Please can somebody help me urgently.

Try to remove IIS and ASP.net and reinstall them. ( if you don't have other
sites running on that machine)
