- SFO GoOffline Error
- Posted by Danielle on June 24th, 2005
We installed CRM on a new server and now when I attempt to Go Offline with
SFO I get an error: "CRM Sales for Outlook cannot go offline. The user does
not have the sufficient privileges, or the Microsoft CRM server was not
found." I'm an administrator in CRM so I should have sufficient privileges.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling SFO (the first time I did this I
didn't delete the CRM MSDE so this time I did) but it didn't make a
difference.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Did yourself personally set the system up?
The reason I say this is that the error although possibly could mean several
things, is also the error projected when the "Go Offline" button is
dissabled. There is a patch from Microsoft that does this for SFO, generally
installed on desktop machines that rather using the SFO over the web version
and also want the mail merge feature.
maybe way off but just an idea....
