I've tried to set up CRM directly with SSL. But didn't go with that
because I was having problems. Didn't find out the true root cause.

I'm using CRM with ISA.
SSL bridging:
Internet <-HTTPS-> ISA <- HTTP -> CRM

Install your cert at ISA.
Setup ISA for SSL bridging.

And if we're not using ISA?

Hope you're not thinking of putting the CRM server on the internet.
I've tried to using port forwarding so that CRM server is not exposed.

I was having a lot of issues, so I gave up on this idea.
