- Trusted for delegation -> Catastrohpic Failure of MSCRM
- Posted by M on July 14th, 2004
I have been having trouble with authentication for an aspx page using Default Credentials.
One of the suggestions was to enable "trusted for delegation" for the CRM server.
I checked this flag (in AD users and Comp>Computers) for the CRM server.
MSCRM broke with the Event log "Catastprophic Failure" and no further details.
After rebooting CRM server (no change), UNCHECKED the flag in AD (no change), rebooted pdc and CRM server (no change).
I have now uninstalled & reinstalled CRM and it still fails with the same Catastrophic Failure.
any suggestions very very gratefully received

Hi,
If it's just the aspx page failing check out if your aspx
is pooled to CRMAppPol.
change).

Thank you for your reply
However unfortunately it is not just the aspx page which fails, it is the whole MSCRM application (hence the stress!)
Seems to have been caused by setting Trusted for delegation in AD
