Have you assigned the licence to the Administrator?

during setup, everything seemed to load fine (W2k3, AD,
SQL, CRM is on the same box), but when I attempt to add
users in user manager, I get the message "the server
localhost is not responding. This might happen if it is
currently unavailable, is not a microsoft CRM server, or
you do not have sufficient priviledges to run user
manager."

I'm getting the same error when I attempt to launch User Admin within CRM. I've added the user to AD and EX2003, per instruction, but when I attempt to add the user within CRM (via Deployment) I get an error stating that localhost isn't responding. You state to assign the license to the Admin.. exactly how do you do that if you can't get into the user admin.
