- Add Program
- Posted by Diane on July 15th, 2003
I tried to install IE6 but after several attempts it still
wouldnt let me. Now some web pages will not open (they
just remain blank white,Hotmail is 1). I tried to go into
add/remove programs to fix IE but it is not listed there.
Also my windows explorer's left pane is just greyed out. I
am nearly certain that this has something got to do with
my attempts of installing IE6. I dont want to do a restore
so any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Diane

Diane,
Have you tried a System Restore to a point just before these problems
started occurring?
Start>Programs>Accesories>System Tools>System Restore
Click Restore my computer to an earlier date radio button
Click Next
Select the correct date on the calendar on the left
