backweb?
Posted by scooby on March 6th, 2004

I ran Spybot this morning with the results containing many Backweb registry entries. Is it o.k. for me to delete the backweb entries from spybot or is Backweb something that needs to be in my PC
Thanks,

Backweb is often installed by Compaq, HP, Logitech and some other software
houses to enable remote support and updating of their product.

Thanks for the explanation
The Logitech digital camera that is no longer used on my PC is the culprit
Good enough to delete, thanks again.

Glad to see you know the application that installed backweb. Makes deciding
whether to delete/uninstall backweb so much easier when you know what it is
supposedly supporting.

Cheers,
