hilight the language you want and click apply then ok.
for word toolbar in another language;
go to windows update
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
hilight windows millenium edition and download windows
explorer for french.

I will go to the site for the Word portion.
The problem when I go to the
start>settings>controlpanel>keyboard>language>add
and I try to add the language I get an error message
telling me a file is missing.
I am not sure if this means that in general you can't do
this with my OS or that for some reason the original OS
install was buggy? When I search for the file in the OS
CD I can't find the file either???? When I installed the
OS I was never asked to insall any language specific
files?!
Unfortunately I do not have the system with me and will
only get to see it on the weekend so I don't recall the
file name.
