Hello

I hvae downloaded all windows ME updates however once the
computer restarts and attempts to install the updates it
halts and message says that windows could not install all
components and that any running programs should be shut
down. I have shut everything however I just get the same
message over and over again and cannot install updates.
Pleas help in any way..

This is a known problem and has a known fix. Temporally emptying the
Uninstall folder fixes the problem.\

Temporarily Remove content of IE Uninstall Folder

Worked Great! Thanks.... also though.... do I need to
replace the files I remoned in the uninstall folder?...it
still works without them though so I have not returned them.
