- Control panel error

I cannot access anything in control panel. It just
started giving me an error saying "Windows cannot access
the specified device, path, or file. You may not the
appropriate permissions to access the item." What happen
and how can I fix it?

Download and use CWShredder, the removal tool:

to remove what may be a variant of the CoolWebSearch hijacker.

you need to restore control.exe then rather than using SFC (which Win Me does
