- Directory on hard drive taking up huge amount of space
- Posted by Mike on September 26th, 2003
I have a directory on my c: called "_RESTORE". When I
view it's contents, it only shows 4 files totalling about
64KB. But when I look at the properties, it shows 9,588
files and 5 folders totalling 8.02GB. Someone told me
that it is some sort of backup information created as
different softwares are updated and other general type
response. I can't believe this is useful and if it is
backup then why does it take 8.02GB's !!!
Bottom line, can I delete or do anything with this to free
up some space ? Thank you for your help.
