Stmgr has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL
Stmgr will now close.
What's up with this errer message? HELP!

Reboot the PC. Perform the function that initiated the error message. Do you
get the error message ?
If you do, you probably installed something that replaced a critical DLL with
the wrong version.
You will then have to do a System Restore to a previous backup point.

still on the screen. That will bring up the Detailed Error Message
which has more precise information about the actual error.
Copy the first part of the Detailed Error Message, up to the word
Registers:, and post it back here. That will give us something
specific to go on.
Also please include a description of the circumstances that cause the
error, including the application program you were using and the
specific task or function within that application that triggered the
error.
