explorer error in MS. DLL
Posted by vesselal@aol.com on March 1st, 2004

I was on line when the computer gave the following message
error: Explorer has caused an error in MS.DLL. This
program will now shut down. If you continue to experience
this problem please restart your computer.

I did but it still doesn't work. The PC starts, you can
hear the MS start sound. The screen is light blue, you can
see the icons at the bottom toolba, but the error message
is still in the dialogue box. Please help.

You appear to have a virus.

MS.dll is probably from the virus Downloader.MSCache
http://securityresponse.symantec.com...r.mscache.html

If not, then run an up-to-date virus scan.

Looks like CRS is communicable through the newsgroups. Not sure how else
you'd explain circumstances recently. ;-)

A little glitch in my newsreader and I was unsure it went through.
I thought it better to have answered twice than not at all.
