Explorer has caused an error in kernel32.dll
Posted by Nikki on September 5th, 2003

Whenever I am on Internet Explorer for a little while, I
get an error message that reads "Explorer has caused an
error in Kernel32.dll. This program will now close."
Once I attempt to close Internet Explorer, the computer
freezes and the only way I can exit IE is to end task in
the close program box. It usually happens when I click on
the Favorites option in the toolbar or when I click on the
address bar, and once when I right clicked on something.
This only occurs when I am online through Internet
Explorer. I have searched and read several forums, but
people have too many varying solutions, therefore I am
unsure as to which one I should attempt. I hope someone
has a solution to this most irritating problem, and thank
you in advance.

PS- I tried updating all of the ActiveX controls and
Internet Explore itself, didn't help.
