getting errors and unable to connect to internet
Posted by Jeff on January 30th, 2004

Once my desk top comes up, I get an error message "ledll
has caused an error in IEDLL.EXE" I've been receiving this
for a while. Just recently, I am unable to get on the
internet via explorer. Message comes up stating that an
error has occurred and explorer must shut down. I click to
see details of the error and It reads "Iexlorer has caused
an error in KERNEL32.DLL" I have norton antivirus 2004,
and it did detect a couple of viruses lately, but it
appeared to take care of them. It's been since then I am
unable to get on the internet. Can you help? Thanks

Try this site

solving KERNEL32 problems:

Your errors are the result of your PC being infected with a recent version
of
the Cool Web Search hijacker. Neither iedll.exe or loader.exe are part of
the
Win Me operating system. Delete iedll.exe but be careful about loader.exe
as
there are some legitimate applications that include a file with this name.
For
more details see http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/darnit_2.htm#iedll and
also
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html where you will also
be
able to download the latest version of the CWShredder which should remove
all
of the mess this hijacker has made of your registry
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip)

If you have not already done so I would also recommend you download
yourself
a
copy of the free Ad-Aware 6.0 from Lavasoft
(http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and also SpyBot
(http://security.kolla.de/) and scan your system for and remove any
unwanted
parasites, adware, spyware, foistware and any other junk that might be
hiding
on your PC.
