- Hard drive runs all the time
- Posted by lino on January 13th, 2004
I use Windows Me. My computer has gotten very very slow,
particularly when I try to access the web. The hard drive
runs all the time, as though it was looking for something
it can't find.
I have defragmented, removed some programs from startup,
ran scandisk, you name it, and nothing seems to help!
What could be wrong?

Lino does the "you name it" include up to date anti-virus software and
anti-spyware
Spybot, its free http://1spybot.com/
