- IPHLPAPI.DLL file cannot start

Hi! I keep getting the following error message when I
start up my computer: The IPHLPAPI.DLL
- Posted by on January 12th, 2004
Thank you, Joan! I went to get help from AOL and the tech
told me that it was a Windows problem. He also said that I
needed a new copy of IPHLPAPI to resolve this and gave me
the link to download a new copy etc...the instructions
said to download the new file to my desktop, backup the
old IPHLPAPI (I don't think I did this correctly - how is
this done?) and then copy the new file to the old
location. Windows won't let me replace the old file, which
goes back to what you said about not being able to replace
or copy the old file. GRRRRRR. So I guess what I'm trying
to ask is - do I bug Microsoft or AOL about this??

As Mike's information states this is an AOL problem and the best thing I
can suggest is going back to your previous version until their programmers
get it right <g>
Can't offer any more help on this so good luck with what ever you decide.
