Noel,

Looks like I am getting an 80- 85 sec pause on "Enumerating Standard Floppy
Disk Controller"
and 1 other time I saw a 108 sec pause on "Enumerating Microsoft Kernel
Audio Mixer".

Does this point to a driver problem?

Either that or hardware - try removing both items from Device manager in
Safe Mode, and rebooting - see if that helps.
Check the BIOS Setup, and make sure that both are enabled.
