msconfig starts up in the startup even though the normal startup is checked and all startup items are checked and all service items are enabled. This occurs every time repeatedly. How to stop it

Please explain "MSConfig starts up in the startup". Do you mean that you are
seeing the message about selective startup when you boot your PC? If so,
check the box not to have the message displayed again and continue.

Thanks, I was able to get someone from Microsoft on it. The normal startup tab was checked and all the items in the startup and services were checked as well. Even after rebooting, the problem continued. We eliminated a registry key in HKEY, Local Machine, Windows, Current, Run and that fixed the problem. I am not sure why it stuck on, but it did.
