- Reformat C Drive

I need to reformat my c drive to get rid of kazaa. I
restart the computer with the boot disk in but when I type
in the command "format c:/" at the a:\> promt it tells me
that it is a bad command and just gives me the prompt
again. what am I doing wrong?

Try
format c:
not
format c:/
