Probably not a registry error but rather an indication that your system is
quite likely now home to one or more parasites or viruses since there should
be no reason why Win Me should be attempting to import a registry file on
booting. What might have happened is that the parasite has now deleted the
file that it imported into your registry but has not removed the entry in the
startup axis so attempts to import it again every time you boot your system.

Use MSConfig, (Start | Run, enter MSConfig and then click OK), open the
Startup tab and look for an entry that either refers to a sys.reg file (or
whatever). When found, uncheck the entry and reboot. This should hopefully
stop you seeing the message each time you boot.

I would now most strongly recommend that you check out your system using your
preferred anti virus application with a current updated set of viral
signatures and also download yourself a copy of the free Ad-Aware 6.0 from
Lavasoft (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and also SpyBot
(http://security.kolla.de/) and scan your system for and remove all unwanted
parasites, adware and spyware that might be hiding on your PC.
