- Return XP to ME
- Posted by William Moore on February 5th, 2004
My HP Pavilion came with Windows ME installed. I upgraded
to XP Home ED.
The software instructions said I could go back to ME if I
didn't reformat the hard
drive and change from FAT32 file system to NT file
system. Now I have a really
screwed up version of XP and I can't go back to ME. My
original OEM disks won't
work. Is it possible to go back and undo this XP abortion?

There should be an option in Add/Remove to uninstall Windows XP.
