I would suspect some sort of spyware or virus activity that is trying
to access the Internet.

Make sure your antivirus software is completely up to date, with the
virus definitions not less than 10 days old and do a complete virus
scan of your yard drive.

Also get a spyware remover program such as AdAware (free) from
www.lavasoft.de and run it to clean up any spyware that may have found
its way on to your computer.

If that does not resolve the problem then check out the items that are
being loaded at Startup by using Start - Run - MSCONFIG and going to
the Startup tab.

Start by shutting off everything in the startup list except for:
ScanRegistry
LoadPowerProfile (2 entries)
SystemTray
TaskMonitor

Then reboot the computer. Hopefully the startup message will be gone.

If so, then go back into MSCONFIG and turn one of the startup items
back on - it doesn't really matter which one. Then reboot the
computer again.

If there is still no FYI message at startup repeat the process,
activating another startup item and rebooting.

Repeat this procedure until the FYI message comes back. The last item
you turned back on in the startup will be the culprit.

Good luck
