- Streets and Trips 2001 error
- Posted by Dave on February 4th, 2004
I have WinMe Dell OEM version with MS Works Suite 2001. I
recently noticed MS Streets and Trips won't run. I get an
error when I try to run it or put the cd in my drive,
saying "This application is unable to continue running
because of a problem accessing the network." The only
system changes I've made recently was adding an old WD
Caviar 1.2gb hard drive that slaves off of the cd-rom
drive. The drive letters have changed and my CD-Rom drive
is now drive E:\, it was drive D:\ before. Anyone know how
I could fix this? I tried going to Add/Remove Programs and
repairing Streets and Trips, but it looks for a file
called Data.msi on the cd, but its not found. Any ideas?
Thanks for any help,
Dave

Dave,
The error message is a result of the change of the CD-ROM having it's
drive letter changed :
MapPoint Error Message: This Application Is Unable to Continue Because
of Problems Accessing the Network
