Does anyone know how to upgrade from windows me to windows
2000pro- can't seem to get a straight answer.

Here's a straight answer ... you can't. WindowsMe was released after
Windows 2000 was, so it does not recognize WindowsMe as a valid operating
system to upgrade from.
