- Where can I get a Windows ME Startup disk?
- Posted by Lionel on July 15th, 2003
My system crashed and I am trying to access the System
Restore tool using the Windows Me Startup disk referred to
in MS Knowledge Base article #279736.
The only discs I have are the three System Recovery CD's
which came with my computer. Is one of these the Startup
disk? If not, where can I get a Startup disk for my
computer? Thanks!

You had to have made your own ME boot floppy, aka startup disk, from within
Windows. If you didn't you're SOL.
