windows 95

Dear Sir(S)
I would like to know if I can run windows 95 on my
windows ME? I have a Rugrats Print shop and it seem that
it doesn't want to start. I can get it loaded, but it will
not run. It say that it is made for Windows 95,98 and
Power PC.

Thank you
James

How do you run one operating system on top of another? You could repartition
your hard drive and set up a dual-boot, but that's a hell of a lot of expense
and effort for Rugrats software ;-). Most, in fact 98% or so, software that
works for Windows 95 or 98 will work just as well with Me as the operating
systems are based around the same core, with only slight differences that
most software wouldn't care about. What errors do you get when you run the
software, if any? I bet just a setting change will let it run with Me.

Monty,

He's not asking if he can run Win95 on WinMe. He's asking if the Win95
program will run on WinMe ... which you did address. Like you, I don't know
the program, but if it uses Real Mode DOS, then it may have problems in
WinMe. Ctrl/Alt/Del and End Task on everything except Systray and Explorer
.... and then try to run the program.
