Windows Error 06:0028:0000000B

Windows Error 06:0028:0000000B: Posted by Ted Reguly on July 7th, 2003; While running various sortware programs I get this error
then another error an exception OE has occured @
0028:c00096BA in VxD VMM(01)

Has anyone seen such an error, and have any recomendations
for fixes?; Posted by Noel Paton on July 8th, 2003; This type of error is often caused by video driver or directX errors
Run DXDIAG from Start|Run, and see what it reports.

Check Device Manager while in Safe Mode, and Remove all Display Adapters,
and Monitors - reboot to Normal Mode, windows will reinstall the drivers.

See if that helps.
