I bought Windows XP and want to install it. I have ME
currently, how do I wipe my hard drive and install it ?

When you boot using the XP CD you will be offered various options one of which
will be to upgrade your existing Win Me install and another to wipe your disk
and clean install XP using either the FAT32 or NTFS filing systems.

Use FDISK.EXE and remove the partition.
Make you PC boot from the CDROM drive to install WinXP.
