- Analog and digital tuner cards in MCE 2005
- Posted by Jacob Østergaard on February 22nd, 2006
Hi, can anyone supply me with details on multible analog/digital tuner
cards in a MCE PC.
Will it be possible to install both a analog and a digital (DVB-C)
turner card?
How do MCE handle the two cards with respect to list of channels?
Kind regards,
Jacob

Doesn't work and not supported. Even more so if it's encrypted. (Which DVB-C
typically is) Experimental at best..only time will tell. I'm playing with
this though - a TechnoTrend 1500C (DVB-C) but no luck as of yet. (hard lock
up) And not a hybrid. Not money well spent at this point - if you're using
MCE.
It doesn't, last time I checked.
(The only exception is for the US market with the add-on support for digital
ATSC unencrypted terrestrial Digital TV support)
Correct me if I'm off base.
